What others want to know...

WHAT IS A "BRAND MESSAGE" AND WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?

Your brand message is a core theme or idea you want to share with the world, stemming from your personality, your story, and who you serve.

Simply put, it’s the thing that makes you stand out from the competition. Sure, your brand visuals are the “shiny object” that attracts potential clients, but it’s your WORDS that keep them interested and make the sale.

It’s the foundation for everything you create in relation to your business (from naming, to copy, to the visuals), and it guarantees that you’ll be CONSISTENT and RECOGNIZABLE with all of your content.

BRAND STRATEGISTS ARE A DIME-A-DOZEN. WHAT MAKES YOU DIFFERENT?

Oh, I’m SO glad you asked! Most brand strategists skim right over the brand messaging and put all the focus on the visuals.

I’m not knocking the importance of the brand visuals, but have you thought about how much writing you do as a business owner? I mean, you’ve got Facebook posts, Instagram posts, weekly (sometimes daily!) emails, website copy, sales copy for every product you launch, scripts for your sales calls, workbooks for your services - the list is NEVER ending!

Your brand messaging is THE ULTIMATE FOUNDATION for everything that you do in your business. You need to have a clear brand message BEFORE you visually design your brand. The copy leads the design, NOT the other way around.

By focusing on the messaging and copy FIRST, you guarantee that your visuals (colors, fonts, graphics) are in alignment with your true purpose (and you don’t have to redesign a gazillion times because your words don’t match your brand’s visual vibe).

WHAT IS A "COPYWRITER"?

Copy is any piece of writing that has to do with your brand or business. A copywriter writes that copy, and the good ones do it in YOUR VOICE, speak to your ideal client, and use proven strategies to (totally authentically) persuade your client to buy (no sleazy car salesman tricks over here, guys).

What I find is that most people have found some “magic copy formula” and used it on their website, but what’s LACKING is their PERSONALITY. By using these formulas without putting it in YOUR VOICE, the copy sounds generic - like it could have been copied and pasted from any ol’ competitor’s site.

So how do we fix this? Don’t continue to struggle to get the right words out there - work with me and get done-for-you website copy that sounds as AWESOME as you are (wink wink).

WHAT'S THE REFUND POLICY?

There is none. This is only for ambitious entrepreneurs who are looking get crystal clear on their brand identity and leverage themselves as an authority in their field by conquering their copy.
